This is the third mystery in a set designed to help students practice simplifying expressions with exponents. This activity can be used as part of the mystery set or as a stand-alone activity.
Students will simplify each exponential expression and will write their answers using only positive exponents. Then they will use their solutions to find their way through the maze at the bottom of the page. As they come to a letter, they will record it in the designated boxes.
When they have completed all 13 questions, students will unscramble the letters they’ve collected to discover their teacher’s superpower.
