Here is a FUN, EASY-TO-USE activity for writing parallel and perpendicular line equations containing a given point. Students solve a mystery by crafting equations. Easily customizable and engaging!
In this activity, students write the equation of 10 lines that contains a given point and are parallel or perpendicular to a given line. The equations are given in both slope-intercept and standard forms, so you can choose what works best with your students!

You can choose if you want to use the activity in slope-intercept form or in standard form. All three version come in BOTH forms! If you are using the scavenger hunt option, you could even use some of each form!
